Friend Connector (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a simple app that shows conversation-starter questions. This policy explains what information the app does and does not handle. We’ve tried to keep it short and plain because the app collects very little.
Your settings are saved only on your device: the theme you pick, the app icon you choose, your notification preference, and which question categories are enabled. This information never leaves your phone and is not sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app removes it.
Questions you save to your favourites, and any questions you write yourself, are stored only on your device. They are shared with the app’s home screen widget so it can show you a question, and they stay on your phone. We never see them, and they are not sent to us, Formspree, or anyone else. Deleting the app removes them.
If you turn on daily notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device. We do not run a server that sends you notifications, and we do not collect any data through them.
If you use the in-app feedback form, the message you write is sent to us through a third-party service called Formspree (formspree.io) so that we can read it and improve the app. When you submit feedback, Formspree processes your message and may collect limited technical information such as your IP address and the time of submission. We ask you not to include passwords or personal information in feedback. We do not ask for your name or email. Formspree’s handling of this data is governed by its own privacy policy: https://formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy/
We want to be clear about this. The app does not:
Friend Connector is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this policy and revise the “Last updated” date above.
